On the southside of Mt. Kenya astirs the Kamwangi Station, a Kirinyagan cooperative that has gained some noteriety over the years. The Ngariama Cooperative Society has some of the most expressive lots the world-over each season. This specific outturn of Kamwangi AA exhibits what we love so much about Kenyan SL28; big amber-red fruits! The notes hit with raspberry, rainier cherry & blood-orange. Kamwangi brews juicy-tropical with a pointed finish as the cup cools crisp. Although this lot is primarily that of SL-28, we know there are the common Kenyan field varieties are included this lot. The beauty of this coffee is in the workers who have carefully and conistently produced clean, unique and jammy coffees each year.

No matter how you brew this, it will be easy to get a delicious yield. Kamwangi AA is refreshing as an iced coffee, big/full as espresso and articulate in the pour-over fashions.

Last roast: Monday, November 6th. Shipped the following day. Our coffees are best brewed/cupped after two weeks+ after roast date.
